INGREDIENTS

Chicken thigh ... 1

Wolfberries ... Small amount

Shredded / Julienned ginger ... Small amount

Marinade

Light soy sauce ... 1 Tbsp

Oyster sauce ... 1 Tbsp

Scotch whiskey (or any cooking wine is fine) ... 1 Tbsp

Sesame oil ... 1 Tsp

Sugar ... 1 Tsp

Corn starch ... 1 Tsp

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Wash chicken thigh cleanly.

2. Cut incisions & gashes on both skin & flesh sides. This will make chicken thigh well-marinated.

3. Marinate chicken thigh with marinade.

Spread ginger shreds and wolfberries beneath and on top of chicken thigh.

4. Cover chicken thigh with plastic wrap and keep refrigerated for at least 30 min.

5. Make sure water is boiling in the steamer before putting in chicken thigh to steam.

6. Turn stove heat to slightly below medium high heat, steam chicken thigh for about 20 to 30 min.

7. Turn off heat, remove chicken thigh from steamer and it is ready to serve.
